A number of versions of “Ani’qu ne’chawu’nani” have been performed over the years, including a basic form that has been taught to countless schoolchildren. One version introduced Spanish lyrics; Curawaka’s recording is a variation of the Spanish-lyric version. Theirs is unusual in that it alters or omits most of the Arapaho lyrics and phrasing.
