*“Lobos de la tribu” is based on a variation of “Ani’qu ne’chawu’nani”, an Arapaho Ghost-Dance song. A number of versions of “Ani’qu ne’chawu’nani” have been performed over the years, including a basic form that has been taught to countless schoolchildren. One version introduced Spanish lyrics; Curawaka’s recording is a variation of the Spanish-lyric version. Theirs is unusual in that it alters or omits most of the Arapaho lyrics and phrasing. Compared with Mirabai Ceiba’s version—"Ani Couni“, which was released two years prior—"Lobos de la tribu” sounds like a more uptempo remix.

Al espíritu del fuego

Cuando la luna
Como plata
